Overview
As global manufacturing shifts toward Industry 4.0, the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) has emerged as the world’s leading architectural framework for industrial transformation. This comprehensive programme equips professionals with the diagnostic tools and consulting frameworks required to evaluate, prioritize, and lead large-scale digital shifts.
From mastering the RAMI 4.0 architecture to executing the TIER prioritization framework, participants gain the end-to-end expertise required to conduct Official SIRI Assessments and drive measurable bottom-line impact.
Level 1: Foundations (3 Days Virtual)
Build the Framework. Establish a rock-solid understanding of the global standard for Industry 4.0. This phase ensures your theoretical knowledge is comprehensive before moving to the practitioner stage.
Prerequisite for Level 2 Certified Assessor status.

FAQ
SIRI stands for the Smart Industry Readiness Index.
It is the world’s first standardized framework designed to help industrial companies—regardless of size or industry—start, scale, and sustain their digital transformation. Created by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) in partnership with global technology companies and industry experts, SIRI provides a suite of frameworks and tools to help manufacturers evaluate their current digital maturity and prioritize the right investments for long-term growth.
SIRI in Singapore: Why It Matters
For local manufacturers and engineering professionals, SIRI is more than just a checklist; it is the official "language" of industrial transformation in Singapore:
Investment Clarity: Many SMEs use SIRI assessments to identify exactly which areas (like PLC upgrades or HMI integration) will provide the highest ROI before applying for government grants.
Global Recognition: Since its launch, SIRI has been adopted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a global standard, meaning a SIRI-certified professional holds a credential recognized in manufacturing hubs worldwide.
Structured Transformation: Rather than chasing every new technology trend, SIRI ensures that a factory’s "Smart" journey is tied to essential business objectives and bottom-line impact.

1. Professional Experience
Manufacturing Background: At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g., Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Supply Chain).
Consulting or Management: Experience in leading projects, conducting internal audits, or providing professional advisory services is highly recommended.
2. Technical & Strategic Knowledge
Industrial Awareness: A foundational understanding of factory operations, including how production lines, maintenance, and IT systems generally interact.
Industry 4.0 Literacy: Familiarity with basic automation concepts (PLCs, Sensors, Data) and digital trends.
Business Acumen: Ability to interpret basic business KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and understand how technical changes impact a company's "Bottom Line."
3. Academic Qualifications
A Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business, or Information Technology is typically required. Relevant professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or automation are strong advantages.
